lets see January started off with a bang when we found out that we were going to have another baby! woo hoo. We were excited and scared (and hoping for a girl) I also started Airmen Leadership School towards the end. It is a school to give you better leadership skills and what to do in situations with younger airmen that I would supervise down the road.
February came and went I graduated my leadership school and had some difficult times but worked through them with the help of alot of people and prayer. And also found out the baby would be due AUG 30th!!!
from March-May really nothing exciting happened. Had tons of doctor appointments and the baby was growing great. I had terrible morning sickness, well all day sickness, and lost 10lbs so I was down to my pre-pregnancy weight that I was with ethan but the doc didnt think it was a problem.
We found out that the lil one is going to be another BOY!!! so we are excited about that (I always wanted 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl) so hopefully that is in our future down the road. The cool things about going to a German doc is that they do ultrasounds at every apt instead of getting just the fetal heart heard. Unfortunately we dont get pics at every apt but we did get to see him grow before our eyes, I'm going to ask if we can get the ultrasounds after the baby is born..so we'll see.
The end of May we traveled back to PA and had a great time, ethan went to his first amusement park,Knoebels, and his first baseball game..plus we went to Ocean City Maryland! This was a first for both Ethan and Will to be at a beach. so it was really exciting and they had a blast! Will's mom and sister also met up at Ocean City and we got to meet Christina one of the girls from my WTE message board and her 2 kids. We had such a great time. Also on this trip Ethan had gotten pink eye and a double ear infection (yikes!) We went and got a 3d/4d ultrasound done since we didnt have as many pics from the doc as we did ethan.
we came back to germany in the middle of June and ethan had his 18 month check up, yes he's 19 months, well will be 20 months next week, and he's doing great he's 30lbs 37 inches tall. he's gonna be my linebacker for sure! we also had to take him to a specialist for his jewels to be checked out. The doc on base said they hadn't dropped yet but when we went to see the other doc she said everything was normal and everything was looking good. Will was scared there for a second b.c if they werent they were going to have to do surgery..hehe.
thats brings us up to July. I started going to the doc every 2 weeks and the baby is 5 lbs!! so i am all baby to say the least considering I have only gained 10lbs and im at 34 weeks. I gained almost 35-40 with ethan so this has me alittle concerned but others said that its fine and happens with a 2nd pregnancy..Im hoping so!
I am soo ready for lil one to come the summer here has been awfully hot and germans dont believe in air conditioning so it makes it more miserable along with my swelling knees and ankles and other pains I get.
